On April 22, 2025, Enercollege, the training platform under ATESS, successfully held a three-day technical training session in Johannesburg, South Africa. Fourteen technical personnel from one of the top five local distributors participated. Led by ATESS senior instructor Jean, the training aimed to enhance the participants’ understanding and hands-on capabilities with ATESS energy storage systems, further reinforcing Enercollege’s pivotal role in technical talent development and partner empowerment.
The first day of training focused on an in-depth overview of the HPS system, covering system architecture, installation procedures, commissioning techniques, troubleshooting methods, and the use of related tools. Drawing from extensive field experience, Jean emphasized best practices for connecting power and communication lines, selecting appropriate cable types based on voltage levels, and calculating cable diameters. A special focus was placed on fine-tuning HPS parameters for different application scenarios and verifying system data accuracy during commissioning.
The second day centered around the PCS system. Through comprehensive explanations and hands-on simulations, trainees gained a thorough understanding of PCS system construction, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Practical case studies helped participants master the skills necessary to independently resolve on-site challenges across various operating environments.

On the final day, the training expanded to include an introduction to ATESS's latest products, an Enerlog data logger workshop, and energy storage system design principles. These sessions broadened participants’ technical knowledge and strengthened their ability to apply ATESS solutions in real-world projects.
Throughout the training, Jean’s clear, practical teaching approach received high praise from the participants. The session concluded with a group photo, marking a significant milestone in their professional development journey.
